Installed on the suction (low-pressure) manifold of the compressor, it provides exact, continuous conversions of refrigerant pressure into variable electrical signals.
Capable of measuring up to 200 PSI, this sensor sends real-time pressure diagnostics to the main microprocessor. This data is essential for the controller to accurately actuate the Electronic Throttling Valve (ETV), modulate system cooling capacity, and prevent evaporator freezing. Upgrading a failing transducer to this newest revision ensures optimal fuel efficiency and stable temperature pull-down.
Design Specifics: The transducer features a 1/8'' NPT male tapered thread for a direct, leak-proof installation. It connects to the main harness via a 4-wire (4-cable) configuration.
